Junior came in with Little Man 2 years ago at age 4. They are both adrenal and not good candidates for surgery. They are on Lupron to help treat their symptoms and make them feel better. They both have insulinoma and Junior recently developed a skin allergy to a medication which was to help treat his insulinoma when Pred wasn't working too well. He is such a sweet boy and comes running as fast as his little legs will carry him when you call JUUUUUUUNNNNIOOOOOOOOR because he knows it's time for chicken gravy. Since he has very little hair, he gets cold pretty easy and loves to snuggle up in anything that hugs his body to keep out any airflow.

Little Man is Junior's buddy. They obviously are no longer adoptable - or rather, nobody wants them. They are adrenal and not doing well on their medication. Neither one are good candidates for surgery. Little Man also has insulinoma.

Sebbe came in with 2 other pals and is about 5 years old. He is adrenal and has insulinoma and does not like the shelter environment. He is with his special foster mom and is now a happy boy.

Sebbe - also shown separately is sure growing a Pred belly. Both Caillou, the albino and Tida, dark sable were surrendered with Sebbe and are about 5 years old. Caillou has insulinoma and Tida is borderline. None of them are expected to get adopted.

Brady is the sweetest, gentlest, kindest, mellowest, lovingest - should I go on? They just don't get any better than Brady. He is just pure LOVE and honey and everybody knows it. He has adrenal disease and end stage insulinoma. He is pictured with Cosmos. He could use something to play with that might help keep some of that weight off but he also loves to sleep in things like the ferret "den." He can't climb into the cage or drawers or other places that his buddies get to go so he gets left out.

Champagne is a one of a kind champagne boy. He is about 5 years old, deaf and has had thyroid tumors removed. He is also adrenal and has end stage insulinoma. He also appears to have some neurological damage which is evident when he cocks his head to look up at you. He loves sleeping in the big bins with piles of other ferrets.

Cosmos came to us at 7 years old as bald as a baby's butt. She is now on Lupron and as you can see, doing quite well but also has insulinoma. She loves the geriatric room and has found many friends.

Eddie came to us with one of the biggest adrenal tumors our vet had ever seen. We had the tumor removed and he is doing very well. During surgery, he was also found to have a mesentery tumor which is a membrane that connects the intestines to the abdomen. Because of the blood supply, the tumor cannot be removed and Eddie is now terminal. He is a sweet, mellow guy and loves wandering around looking for soft bedding to sleep in.

Farrah & Hutch were surrendered to one of our shelter vets to be euthanized for no apparent reason. They weren't even sick. Thankfully they were brought to LDFR but it became quickly obvious that they didn't know what is was like to sleep in soft clean bedding. Farrah is about 5-6 years old and is a beautiful albino girl who likes to be by herself but needs to know Hutch is close by. She had a chordoma removed from her tail which is now a bit of a stub. Hutch is a sweet champagne boy also about 5-6 years old. A few weeks ago, his foster mom found blood seeping from his rectum. He was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and is being treated with steroids. He is doing very well but will need to be on Pred for the rest of his life.
